The Ski Resort
Surrounded by the Wilder Kaiser massif and the Kitzbühel Alps lies the Lärchenhof ski lift in Erpfendorf. The T-bar lift is 526 metres long and transports winter sports enthusiasts up the 789-metre high Lärchenhofkogel. The two kilometres of pistes with easy difficulty levels are particularly suitable for beginners and families. Children will love the ski carousel and can use the conveyor belt as an ascent aid. The Lärchenhof ski school offers group and private lessons for all levels of ability.
The Lärchenhof slope is similar to the famous Ganserlhang in Kitzbühel due to its terrain and altitude. This is why athletes like to use it as a training slope for the World Cup slalom.
Snow Safety & Snowmaking
Also off-piste there is a lot on offer in Erpfendorf. For tobogganists there is a one kilometre long toboggan run at the Hotel Lärchenhof, which is illuminated on Wednesday evenings. The start is within walking distance.
A horse-drawn carriage ride through the romantic winter landscape to the Hundsbichler Alm is also an experience. Alternatively, the hut can be reached by a half-hour hike along the Sonnen-Panorama hiking trail. Furthermore, Erpfendorf offers the one and a half kilometre long biathlon trail and the six kilometre long Erpfendorf cross-country skiing trail. Ice skaters will find an artificial ice rink in nearby St. Johann in Tyrol and if you want even more skiing fun, all your wishes will be fulfilled in the nearby Steinplatte and Kitzbühel ski areas.
The 5-star luxury hotel Lärchenhof offers its guests a spacious wellness area for relaxation in addition to the in-house ski lift. After a day's skiing you can warm up in one of the saunas and recharge your batteries.
Dining and Restaurants
In the À-la-carte restaurant of the Hotel Lärchenhof you can enjoy culinary delights. After a strenuous day on the slopes, a 6-course menu of choice awaits hotel guests there.
