Silver Star is the epitome of a true value for money experience. What we loved the most is the My1Pass, that provides access to cross-country skiing, fat biking, snowshoe tours, ice skating, snow tubing and many other activities. There are no extra costs apart from rental fees.
The single-day lift ticket is 96 CAD for adults (63 EUR), which is not cheap, yet reasonable compared to the rates of other Canadian ski resorts. However, rates are way more expensive in North America than they are in the European Alps. As usual, rates become cheaper when taking advantage of discounts. Silver Star offers great package deals with multiple overnight stays. We highly recommend Snowbird Lodge, which is located close to the base station of Comet Express. What's more is there are private hot tubs on the balconies of almost all apartments. Doesn't this sound freaking amazing?
