Reopening in June 2023
After being destroyed by a major bushfire, Selwyn Snow Resort was closed for the winter months of 2020, 2021 and 2022. The grand reopening is on 10 June 2023! Among other things, a new guesthouse, a new chairlift and two carpets in the ski school area will be opened then.
The Ski Resort
Selwyn Snow Resort may not be one of the largest ski areas, but it offers everything a winter heart desires. In addition to the classic offers such as alpine skiing and snowboarding, you can also try snowtubing and tobogganing. Moreover, snowshoe hikes are offered, which are a unique experience in the beautiful landscape of the national park.
The local ski school offers a wide range of activities. Children from the age of 18 months are taught here. Courses are also available for young people and adults.
