All Fun and Games for Families

Families with small children are in good hands in the valley area of the Panorama Mountain Resort. The Panorama Ski & Ride School offers private and group lessons for skiers and riders of all ages and levels. PanoKids is for tots to teens and for both beginner and advanced who are into having a good time in a group lesson format. There is also Wee Wascals' childcare.

Moreover, for families who would like to take the slopes together, the ski school offers family private lessons. Plus, Panorama Mountain is a paradise for families with beginners as plenty of nursery slopes and areas as well as tons of easy, wide-open and thus definitely doable runs make for a great learning experience for first-time skiers.

Mile 1 Express and Discovery Quad are as family-friendly as are the magic carpets in the beginner zone. Unfortunately, the other lifts do not have extra safety bars for children and only occasionally there's a foot rest. In the Discovery Zone, families have many choices when it comes to deciding which way to take in order to return to the valley on easy green and blue runs.

What's more is the beginners' and children's area is not far from the parking lots and sanitary facilities. Adjacent to it there's the Ski Tip Lodge – a nice place to head to for an extended lunch break. Plus, there are tons of off-piste activities at Panorama such as snow tubing, ice skating or a visit to the Panorama Springs Pools.
