Obertauern is a great destination for skiers and boarders alike!

Because of its high altitude, Obertauern is one of the resorts in the Alps benefiting from snow-sure slopes during its relatively long season. Having fun on the slopes is guaranteed from the end of November to the end of April. The runs are rather challenging and the diverse selection is mostly for advanced skiers and experts to choose from. Nevertheless, beginners and families have their own areas to practice their skiing techniques and ski at their own speed. The Après opportunities in Obertauern are nothing short of fantastic. If you like to end your ski day with a nice, relaxing atmosphere, you always have the opportunity to choose a warm and rustic mountain hut over an Après Ski pub/club. Modern lift infrastructure gives winter sport enthusiasts a great and convincing overall impression of the ski resort Obertauern.

    Perfect is an understatement!
The ski area is perfect! Easy slopes, medium slopes and black slopes, just as you like. And it is ingenious that you can ski all day long without having to unbuckle your skis even once. The bridges over the road are totally spitze❤️ I love Obertauern!

Beautiful ski area that can be overhauled.
The lap can be driven in both directions, but you must be able to drive at medium speed, as there are also red slopes on the green lap. The slopes are generally well prepared. Overall impression good. Sufficient for one week. If you are looking for more variety, you should choose a larger ski area.

    Great ski area
Very nice ski area. Great mountain huts. A little more opportunities for pedestrians would be nice. Security of danger on steep piste/slopes through fishing fences would be good. Demarcation of the slopes by light rods in poor visibility. Otherwise very varied.

    Snow and great slopes
We really liked it in Obertauern. We had piles snow on our ski holiday. The pistes are mostly light to medium heavy, so that even as a little experienced skier almost the whole ski resort is. There are also great places to stop, as well as all the hotels directly in near ski lifts.

    Powder, piste, party-all top!
A great snow-proof ski resort, which offers something for everyone. And the après ski after skiing is unrivalled.

Top Apres ski But far too much time spent in the lift
The departures were in a top condition, but unfortunately this is far too short for me. At then 30-35 lift ride a day you can think how much time was spent here. You have to praise the après ski of is outstanding until late into the night.

In Obertauern just fits everything! The Tauern round can also be mastered in both directions by less experienced drivers. For sportier riders It is worthwhile to look at the piste plan and you can ...
