    Excellent beginners conditions!

For beginners, an extra ski school lift as well as a children's land and a children's club have been set up in Obergurgl. In addition, the local ski schools ensure that beginners of alpine skiing also feel comfortable in the Gurgl ski area. The Mahdstuhl lift, which is located right next to the ski school lift, is situated somewhat away from the rest of the skiing activity, which is why beginners can safely take their first steps in the snow here. Another starting point for beginners is the area around the button lift "Wiesenlift". This lift is partly used by advanced skiers to get back to the base station of the Festkogelbahn, but the directly adjacent slope is almost exclusively occupied by beginners. A children's club with a small platter lift operated by the local ski school makes this area the perfect beginner's area. In order to increase slowly, after the first turns on the practice slope, the family downhill run 6 from the middle station of the Hohe Mut gondola is suitable. Once you have mastered this, you can venture onto the many blue slopes in Hochgurgl.

However, there is also plenty on offer for beginners in the Hochgurgl sub-area. Directly at the top station of the Hochgurgl lift are the Krumpwasserlift practice lift and a magic carpet. But there are also plenty of opportunities for beginners in the rest of the area. More than 35 of the total 112 kilometers of slopes are assigned to the easy category. So beginners will find blue slopes of easy difficulty distributed almost throughout the entire ski area.
