The Ski Resort
Middlebury College Snow Bowl´s origin dates back to 1934 when first trails were cut. This makes it one of Vermont´s oldest ski areas. Today the ski area offers 17 trails served by 3 chair-lifts. Half of the trails are expert trails making it a perfect environment to train for the College´s athletics. However, the other half are intermediate and beginner trails. Thus, there is enough space for everyone no matter of which ability level. Middlebury also offers some gladed areas for Tree Skiing.
