The Ski Resort

Le Relais was the birthplace of skiing in the Quebec area. It was founded in 1936 and thus has a long tradition of catering to their customers. The dedicated staff has always had one special ambition: ski instruction. The local ski school was founded in 1946 and it is famous for promoting winter sports throughout their existence. It was also Le Relais Redskins Club that helped build the first all women ski school and at the same time they became affiliated with the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance. 70 hectares of beautiful runs are renowned for their surface quality and perfect grooming. The winding slopes for beginnners or intermediates interchange with challenging steeps for the more advanced skiers that make up about 50 % of the skiable area. Le Relais attracts a lot of night skiiers, 100% percent of the runs are light at night which is not all that common. The mountain is easy to get around: The infrastructure is elaborate with 7 lifts that take you to your destination fast and safely. Le Relais is a great ski area with fun for everybody in the family, it also features a well equipped terrain park to gratify any snowboarder´s heart.
