Not Well-Suited for Families with Kids

Since all levels are covered on every single lift in Lake Louise, it is a nice ski resort for families to spend the day together despite their different skills. Moreover, the resort offers outstanding school and childcare facilities. The Minute Maid Wilderness Adventure Park is a learning area for kids at the base, which is popular among families with children.

However, the chairlifts are not safe enough for children, because there is no protection for smaller kids, as there is no safety bar for them. All of the resort's lifts are quite outdated; hence, there is plenty of room for improvement, for safety reasons. In addtion, you will not get the chance here to rest your board or skis on a footrest. What's more: The T-Bar taking you to the highest point of the ski resor is not suitable for children at all, since most parts of the ascent are way too difficult and physically demanding.

However, Lake Louise offers great beginner skiing. As mentioned before, almost every lift services at least one designated green or blue run, which means that beginner-friendly, wide-open runs are spread out across the mountain and newbies can improve their skills off of every lift. Another plus is the ski resort's excellent signposting.
