Families will feel extremely comfortable in the small but excellent Ladurns ski area with its 18 kilometres of slopes. The slopes are mainly wide, easy to manage and not overcrowded. Therefore, parents can always keep an eye on their children. The price-performance ratio is also an advantage for families. In the ski huts, such as the Edelweiss Hut, there are even special children's menus.
Fichti's Kinderland in the valley
Fichti's Kinderland is located on 5.000 m² directly at the valley station of the gondola lift. There, highly qualified ski instructors from the Ladurns ski school, which has been awarded the Gold Seal of Quality, are waiting for small and older children. Kids and beginners are easily transported to the top with four magic carpets. The slope in the Kinderland is of extremely low gradient, so that you don't have to worry. If the weather is bad, you can go to the warm rooms of Fichti's Kinderland, where a varied program awaits the children. Of course parents also can perfect their skiing skills at the Ladurns ski school. For beginners there is also the opportunity to go to the skiing area "Innerpflersch" in St. Anton, which is only 4 km away. Here you will find a drag lift.
As soon as the children are safe enough on their skis, they can use the gondola and the childproof chair lift to get up to the easy slopes around the "Wastenegg" lift. There they can intensify what they have learned before. There is another practice area at the mid station of the gondola lift. Fun for the whole family is also provided by the Funslope with its numerous curves.
Alternative offer: Tobogganing
To add a little variety to your skiing holiday, a 6.5 km long toboggan run is available for families in Ladurns. After renting the toboggan at the valley station, the comfortable ascent is made with the Ladurns gondola. The toboggan run starts next to the Pfeifferhuisele ski hut. The track is easy and therefore also suitable for families with small children.
