More than 50 % of all slopes are of easy level!
A look at the trail map shows that the Kitzsteinhorn is well suitable for beginners. 21 km of easy trails can be found there, which amounts to at total of 51 % of all trails. For an easy and convenient start into winter sports we recommend both practice slopes at the Lechnerberglift above Kaprun or the subarea Maiskogel. Comfortable chair lifts take you to the Maiskogel peak and the beautiful and not too demanding trail 30 / 31 (see trail map) leads down into the Kaprun valley. But also at the Kitzsteinhorn numerous easy trails can be found. Especially recommendable for beginners are trail 4a and 4b by the peak.
