3 beginner ski lifts and 12 kilomters of category blue runs!

Total greenhorns who feel safer close to the valley are offered two beginner lifts directly at the base area of the “Hochzeiger” mountain railway. Liss and Wiesen ski lift alongside with the respective practice slopes are a nice option for beginners. At the mountain plateau you’ll find two nice beginner runs: the “Sechzeiger” chair lift as well as a short practice slope. With 12 kilometers of category blue slopes less experienced skiers are offered enough runs to improve their skills apart from using the practice areas. Particularly recommendable is the Family run Nr. 1, which splits up into two runs (check out mountain map for more information!). It can either be accessed via the mountain station of the “Rotmoosbahn” (2450m) or via that of the “Sechszeiger” ski lift. Also nice for beginners is the long, category blue base area descent Nr. 1a down to “Liss”. Several of the category red runs, as for example the “Sechzeiger” run Nr. 7, are technically not that demanding so that they should be no problem for less experienced skiers.

The beginner's area is located directly at the Valley station. Two tow lifts open up short, easy slopes. In addition, blue pistes lead from the mountain station of the Rotmoos Railway to the Valley station.
