Great daycare for the little ones, but very little in the way of beginner trails…

Heavenly belongs to Vail Resorts, one of the largest winter resort companies in North America, and has the high-quality daycare to match. For kids ages 6 weeks to 6 years, there’s the “Heavenly Child Care” at the CA Base Lodge, which provides care and entertainment for your little ones until 4 in the afternoon. More information on Heavenly’s on-mountain child care can be found at skiheavenly.com Child Care. There are also lessons available for kids at the Ski & Ride Schools Heavenly (please see more under skiheavenly.com Ski and Ride Schools. The majority of the trails at Heavenly are categorized as Intermediate or Expert, so if your kids are just getting started, we strongly recommend enrolling them in one of the courses. Once they’re ready to explore on their own they shouldn’t have any trouble with the Heavenly’s many intermediate (blue in the US!) slopes.
