Best medium-sized resort close to Boulder/Denver
Eldora (formally Lake Eldora) is a great small mountain that is close to the Front Range cities. Although it doesn't boast 4,000 ft vertical or 20 lifts, it has both easy cruising blues and challenging double-black terrain, steep runs, good bumps and glade skiing to keep everyone happy.
