A generously spaced ski school and beginners' area at the Snow Park Lodge

A generously spaced ski school and beginners' area, a state-licensed facility providing supervision and activities for non-skiing children as well as 27% of easy and 41% of intermediate ski-runs make Deer Valley Resort a popular skiing destiny for the whole family.
If one has no experience on skis, the large area of the ski school at Snow Park Lodge offers a lot of space to learn or improve one's skills under the guidance of trained ski instructors. The ski school is facilitated with two magic carpets and two short double chairlifts (Burns and Snowflake).
There's an excellent childcare service provided on-site. At Snow Park Lodge, children from the age of 2 are taken care of on the state-licensed children's center, while parents and older siblings enjoy themselves on the Deer Valley ski-runs. The green marked Sunset slope, leading to Snow Park Lodge, or the Homeward Bound ski-run, leading down to Silver Lake Lodge are both family-friendly slopes. The latter, in addition, offers breathtaking views on the surrounding landscapes.
If you are an intermediate skier, we recommend the single blue marked slopes, such as the Nabob ski-run on Bald Mountain or the Sidewinder ski-trail on Flagstaff Mountain.
A special highlight one shouldn't miss is the Last Dance slope leading to Snow Park Lodge. On this slope, every now and then one will discover miraculous animal sculptures that were placed by various artists in front of houses and on trees.
One major aspect that proves the Deer Valley Resort is a truly family-friendly resort is a slope map especially designed for children. The so-called Children's Adventure Map is usually handed out (upon request) at any box office on-site. This map shows 14 slopes that are particularly suitable for children, depicting mogul runs with gentle hills leading through the forest. Most of the children-suitable slopes can be found on Flagstaff Mountain and in the vicinity of Snow Park Lodge. Children will love spending their day here!
Due to this, its special features and family-friendliness, Deer Valley Resort achieves a top rating in our test report: 5 out of 5 stars!
