Wide trails and a fantastic terrain park!

As is the case at most other ski areas, there are more skiers than snowboarders at Breuil-Cervinia. But there are more snowboarders there than you will find at other areas, and there are a couple very good reason for that; thanks to the long, wide runs, conditions for snowboarding are perfect, and with enough snow, the off-piste possibilities are endless. Beginners will want to stick to the blue runs and beginner lifts above Plain Maison (8383ft/2555m) and Salette (7365ft/2245m). The well-constructed terrain park, „Indian Park,“ off run no.6 (below Theodulpass) rounds off the ski area's impressive array of snowboarding features. Over 400 meters in length and 100 meters in width, the park's 40,000 total square meters make it ideal for boarders of all skill levels. There are three different jumps, one for each skill level – beginner, intermediate and expert, with lengths of 3 to 18 meters, and plenty of walls, rails and boxes, not to mention the chill background music in the hang-out area. But if it's a half-pipe you're looking for, you'll have to move to the Swiss side of the ski area, where you'll find one at the Plateau Rosa on the Theodul Glacier.
