The Ski Resort
The ski resort Biały Jar in Karpacz offers three downhill runs with a total of 2.5 km of slopes. All three slopes (two red, one blue) start at the top station of the 6-seater chair lift, which is equipped with bubbles and heated seats. For beginners and children there is also a magic carpet in the area of the top station.
In the main season until the end of February, the lift runs until 9 pm. In the evening hours the slopes are illuminated for night skiing.
Not far from Biały Jar, the Karpacz ski resort offers other downhill skiing opportunities.

- The vertical drop from summit to base is 71 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Poland is 319 m. Runs and slopes are therefore relatively short. The high point of the ski resort is located at an elevation of 805 m.
- The day pass at Bialy Jar - Karpacz is PLN150 making it one of the 15 cheapest ski Resorts in Poland.
- Average snow depth during the season is 61 cm at summit elevation and 34 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 63 cm at summit elevation and 35 cm at the base.

Karpacz is located about 120 kilometers southwest of Wroclaw near the Czech border. The journey leads via Jelenia Góra. From there it is only about 20 kilometers.
