The former Mt. Ascutney Mountain Ski Resort was closed, but a committee is working on creating a nonprofit ski resort called Mt. Ascutney Outdoors. The new ski resort is officialley registered since June 2016.

The Ski Resort

Ascutney Outdoors, the former Ascutney Mountain Resort, is a very family friendly ski resort that offers everything you can ask for. Besides skiing and snowboarding you can also take some time off in the spa. Take a relaxing massage, go swimming or in the sauna.
Families with little children who are too small for skiing can bring their children to the Kids Corner where they can have some fun with other children of their age.
Ascutney offers a variety of trails for every level of ability so everyone can have some fun acording to their skills. Begginers may take some lessons at the ski school that offers a range of different programs that will meet everyone´s taste.
Ascuntney also provides a terrain park where you can practice some tricks on the rails, kickers and jumps. Furthermore, there is a 30 km Nordic trail that consists of 8 seperate ski loops and 3 snowshoe loops. They are designed vor beginners and advanced abilities.
