Relatively expensive ski passes, but affordable refreshments

At just under 50 euros (as of 2020) for a day pass, Ankogel-Mallnitz is not yet in the upper price range in Austria, but in view of the (only) 12 kilometers of slopes and the rather old lifts, the ski passes are still quite expensive. At least the ski pass is also valid on the Mölltal Glacier, where another 20 kilometers of slopes await. Multi-day tickets are valid either in the Ski)Hit or TopSki Carinthia-East Tyrol ski networks.

A plus point are the cheaper rates for beginners who only want to use the Köfele lifts at the base station. Thanks to moderate prices in the huts, you don't have to dig too deep into your pocket for refreshments.
