      Pure challenge in Alta!

Alta is known beyond Utahs frontiers for being a challenging ski resort. And we found Alta to live up to its reputation. Especially the ungroomed terrain in “West Rustler” and “East Greeley” leaves nothing to be desired for powder-junkies that don’t shy away from wooded terrain. Very demanding terrain can be found also at the “Wildcat Chair” (only exception is trail 96 “Aggie`s Alley”). Especially the tail- parts of the trails are very steep and lead skiers through dense forests and over ledges. Those looking for even more challenge should purchase the Alta-Snowbird ticket in order to also experience the “Double Diamond Runs” in Snowbird. The only downer is a missing slalom or giant slalom training track – however that did not keep us from awarding Alta with our highest award possible in the expert category!
