As a family establishment that is rich in tradition, the comfort and ease of our guests has been close to our heart for as long as we can remember. The "Bergheimat" captivates its guests, not least because of its unique location beneath the Mandlwand of the mighty Hochkönig massif.
A lavish breakfast buffet with tea bar and delicious evening dinner menus with salad buffet, are wonderful moments of any day spent at the Bergheimat. Our proven kitchen team sets great store in a mixture of Austrian and international specialties, perfectly complimented by wines from our hotel´s Vinothek, or by waters drawn from the Bergheimat´s popular mountain spring - waters revitalised according to principles pioneered by Johann Grander.
A separate children´s menu and, on request, menus to meet your vegetarian or special dietary needs, are, of course, also an integral part of our culinary palette. Afterwards, guests gather at the hotel bar, out on the panoramic terrace, or in those cozy nooks of the foyer, which features its own open-hearth fire. A perfect place to chat, laugh and enjoy unbridled high spirits - a convivial end to another day filled with exciting new experiences.
After a vacation day filled with activity, you will be glad to have some time to relax and focus totally on yourself - and this can be achieved nowhere better than at the Salzburg spa hotel Bergheimat´s "Realm of Wellness". A free ski shuttle will pick you up from the hotel and take you directly to the ski slopes and the cross-country trail. Our guests also like to use our in-house ski and equipment rentals - a very convenient and comfortable oppurtunity for your swinter vacations in Salzburg. And we provide winter programs designed especially for the youngsters as well. The activities offered by our ski schools make sure that our budding ski stars remain in the best of spirits, in addition, our mascot, "Schneewutzel", has all sorts of fun and games.
