Cross-Country Skiing Tyumen (Tjumen)

"The Pearl of Siberia" is a winter sports centre located about 40km/25mi south-west of Tyumen. You can find a 15km/9.3mi biathlon track here. International biathlon competitions, including world cup races, have taken place here in the past.

The centre was even supposed to become a venue for the Biathlon World Championships 2021. Due to the doping scandal, however, Russia was disqualified as a host for the BWCH. Instead, the even will now be held in Pokljuka in Slovenia. 

Tjumen is located approximately 330km/205mi east of Yekaterinburg in West Siberia. You find the resort around 50km/31mi from Tjumen Airport.
