The Cross-Country Area
Surrounded by a magnificent mountain world, the cross-country skiing trails in Hohentauern delights both beginners and professionals. A permanently snow-covered central trail (approx. 2.5 kilometres) in the area of the trail centre promises pure cross-country skiing pleasure.
The trails, which have been awarded the Styrian cross-country skiing seal of approval, allow classic cross-country skiing as well as skating. Since the cross-country trails were designed according to the findings of sports physicians, there are suitable trails for all ability groups.
If you want to learn cross-country skiing or improve your technique, you can take part in one of the courses at the ski school. Suitable equipment for children and adults is available in the on-site shop and rental.

- Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 71 cm at summit elevation and 52 cm at the base.
