The Ski Resort
The first ski lift in Hohentauern was built as early as 1949/50, making it one of the first in Styria. The ski area still impresses with its family atmosphere today. Winter sports enthusiasts can expect 11 kilometres of slopes from easy to difficult and 5 ski lifts.
Hohentauern is well suited for families. There is a ski kindergarten with a ski carousel and a magic carpet. The "Wichtelhütte" invites all skier to stop directly at the mountain station with its sun terrace. Directly next to the lifts there is also a sports shop, which offers ski rental and ski service.
