The Cross-Country Area
The Chamrousse winter sports area is located near Grenoble. The trails have different requirements, so that they are suitable for beginners as well as for professionals. In addition to almost 40 kilometres of trails, Chamrousse also offers a ski school, equipment rental and a biathlon shooting range.
Interesting facts
- The cross-Country skiing area takes you to an elevation of 1,693 m.
- Snow coverage is usually best during March, offering an average snow depth of 137 cm at summit elevation and 73 cm at the base.
