Winter Dreams Come True

Skiing in Canada is a dream come true for almost every winter athlete, since snow makes out 36 percent of the total precipitate. Thus, you’ll always have perfect snow conditions. Best known are the ski resorts in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and the areas located around British Columbia and Alberta.

Ever since Whistler Blackcomb was home to the Olympic Winter Games in 2010 it’s even well-known among those who aren’t into skiing or boarding. Equally famous in British Columbia are Revelstoke and Cypress Mountain. Another highlight is the ski connection ‚Big 3‘ in Alberta which includes the ski resorts Lake Louise, Mt. Norquay and Sunshine Village, situated in the heart of the beautiful national park Banff. The park doesn’t only feature the most breathtaking nature but is also part of UNESCO world heritage.

Freeriders appreciate the immense offer in all Canadian resorts. Away from groomed trails you sometimes even have to take a helicopter to get to the amazing backcountry terrain. The outstanding snow conditions are just the cherry on the top.

The best option to get to the Canadian resorts is to take a plane to Vancouver or Calgary. Sometimes you can even make a non-stop travel from some German Airports.
