Our online shop SportFits reached a new milestone in the 2024/25 financial year: with an increase in sales of 27 percent to 31.1 million euros, we underline our claim to be one of the leading e-commerce specialists for outdoor, winter sports and camping equipment. Behind this success are efficient processes, strong brands and a clear focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong segments as growth drivers

Outdoor, winter sports and camping: these three categories are among the flagships of SportFits – and they grew particularly strongly last year. The broad and high-quality range of products in our online shop appeals to recreational athletes, families and outdoor fans alike. Selected new brand additions such as Atomic, POC, Saucony and Fjällräven also made a decisive contribution to this.
“A 27 percent increase in sales – with a stable margin – shows impressively that our strategic combination of proven existing brands and selected new additions is exactly what our customers are looking for”, says CEO Florian Weis.
Logistics with high-tech support

In the background, automated processes ensure that everything runs smoothly: The end-to-end conveyor technology and the enhanced AutoStore system in particular have significantly increased efficiency in logistics. This not only has a positive effect on shipping speed and reliability, but also on the environmental footprint.
"The fully automated conveyor line across the entire logistics chain was crucial to our success. As a result, we ship faster, more resource-efficiently and more reliably than ever before - benefiting our team, our customers and the environment in equal measure", says CEO Martin Bauer.
Technology, customer satisfaction and visibility as success factors

Another key topic: artificial intelligence. SportFits now relies on AI-supported processes in many areas. In customer service in particular, specially developed software leads to significantly shorter response times. Logistics, category management, marketing and IT also benefit from the new technologies.
Satisfied customers are the best advertisement. Our online shop was able to further consolidate its position as one of the best-rated outdoor online shops in Germany. The ratings speak for themselves: Trustpilot: 4.7 stars, Trusted Shops & Idealo: 4.8 stars, Google: 4.7 stars.
SportFits has also been strategically repositioned in the retail media sector. The intensified cooperation with brand partners creates new sources of income and at the same time offers better visibility for products in the store.
Looking ahead: loyalty and premium brands
SportFits is not resting on its laurels. Further expansion of the logistics processes is planned for the 25/26 financial year. The range will also be expanded to include exclusive premium brands such as Dynafit, Garmin, Goldbergh and Thule. Customer loyalty is also a focus: from the second half of 2025, a new loyalty program will create long-term benefits for regular customers.
In addition, our online store is pursuing the goal of further developing its high-reach portals SportFits.eu, TouriSpo.com and Snow-Online.com as a content and commerce ecosystem - for all those who prefer to be active outdoors in their free time.
