Product Summary
The ski in details
The Racetiger GS R WC FIS is the perfect ski for the ambitious U18 athletes working towards taking part in the European Cup.
It has technologies that are also used in the World Cup. The Tailored Carbon Tip offers a very precise, direct and reliable shovel response, which helps the athlete to take a shorter and narrower radius to the gate. Carbon fibers are embroidered onto a carrier material for precise torsion control. The three-layer Titanal, a solid ash wood core and the phenol side walls give the ski the stability and dynamism it needs to push every athlete to achieve her full potential.
Technologies
Base P-Tex 4504
A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density.
Full Sidewall
Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.
Full Sidewall Phenol
The special surface structure in combination with the material composition reduces icing because it allows the snow to simply slide off. This leads to a drastic reduction in weight during use up to 20 - 30%. Thanks to the lighter skis, long and steep assents can be better managed.
Full Titanal
The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.
Tailored Carbon Tips
In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the stress lines, opening up completely new possibilities, for performance at the front of the ski, which has a decisive influence on the handling of the ski.
Tip Rocker
Character: Only bends upwards in the shovel area, while the middle and tail of the ski feature a camber shape.
Woodcore
Special PU construction with a wooden core in the ski body.
Worldcup Ash Woodcore
While the ski flexes when initiating the turn, the fibers stretch and absorb the tension energy. At the exit of the turn, this accumulated energy is released, giving the ski a lively feel.
