Carve a long turn and you’ll see: the Deacon is born for this.
With its diffrent geometry, widened shovel and shortened tip and tail rocker, this powerhouse can conquer turns of any radius. Its versatility is magnified by Tailored Carbon Tips. Carbon fibres applied using Völkl’s exclusive Tailored Fibre Placement (TFP) process allow our engineers to influence curve behaviour with great accuracy. The strength and alignment of the fibres define the force you need to apply and the energy that builds up where it’s needed. Agile shovel reaction is a feature of special note. This means that as soon as you initiate a turn, the ski begins to steer in a measured and controlled manner, depending on how the edges are employed. This construction also allows means less weight without any loss of stability.

3D.Glass
Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.
Base P-Tex 4504
A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density.
Full Sidewall
Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.
Full Sidewall ABS
The specific synthetic substance of the entire sidewall enables a precise and direct power transfer.
Full Titanal
The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.
Multilayer Woodcore 1
The side wall is laminated to extremely stable layers of wood on the sides of the sandwich core.
Tailored Carbon Tips
In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material.
Tip & Tail Rocker
Character: Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle.
Woodcore
Special PU construction with a wooden core in the ski body.
