Product Summary
The ski in details
Wide, perfectly groomed slopes are its hunting ground. It loves wide, fast bends.
The Laser GS impresses with its smooth running, even at high speeds. This is facilitated by the Carbon Steering Control technology developed in racing and an additional rubber damping inserted above the wood core. So you can ride as if on rails and stay in control, no matter how fast you’re going. This giant slalom ski offers full World Cup performance for those who don’t want to compromise on speed or precision.
Technologies
Size Optimized Construction
The construction of these models changes according to the length. The shorter lengths are typically made a little lighter and softer compared to the longer lengths. The aim is to provide an optimal match between the ski’s handling characteristics and the skier’s physique.
- Perfectly matched construction whatever the length
- The ski’s dynamics are adapted to the skier’s physique
- Weight reduction at shorter lengths
Solid Metal Edge
Wider than conventional edges. This not only increases the service life of the ski, but also pays off in the rental/lending sector, where the equipment is subjected to particularly heavy use. A wider edge also makes the ski a little more stable.
- Longer service life
- Reduced susceptibility to damage
- More grinding possible
- Increased stability
Full Edge Contact
The widest points of the ski are set further forward or back. This makes the shovel grip faster and the part of the edge in contact with the snow when the ski is tilted becomes longer.
- Easier, faster turn initiation
- Improved grip in the turn due to the longer contact area
Carbon Steering Control
CSC Technology was successfully used in the Alpine Skiing World Cup. The carbon laminate visibly recognizable in the window is glue-laminated as appropriate for each end point. In the flex line, the carbon laminate flexes ideally so that the ski loses none of its perfect tuning. On strong impacts, the carbon laminate comes under tension through its specialized glue laminate at the ends, which results in less flattening out on the snow.
- Superlative smooth running
- Increased stability
- Perfect control, even under tough conditions
Flex Torsion Control
An S-shaped notch in the aluminum at the shovel and tail of the ski offers softer flex and torsion at the front and rear. As a result, the ski exhibits more torsional flex, making it easier to initiate turns. At the same time, when changing direction, the ski remains under control because the torsion can adapt.
- Improved control when changing direction
- Easier steering in and out of turns
Racing Sidewalls Black
Phenol sidewalls with a harder resin plus carbon black, which leads to greater stability and a more direct power transfer.
- Faster and more direct power transmission
- Improved agility when switching edges
