Technologies
FIBERGLASS 1080
The 1080 fiber has been designed to improve the rigidity of the skis without penalizing it in weight by excessive glass weight.
The 1080 contains 1080g of fiberglass per M² in the warp longitudinally and vice versa, very weakly in the weft.
CAP SIDEWALLS
Cap Sidewalls constructions feature topsheet material that rolls from edge-to-edge of the ski (no sidewalls), offering lightweight ease-of-use, more comfortable ski-ability and increased resistance to chipping.
PISTE ROCKER
Designed for on-trail precision, Rossignol´s On Trail Rocker profile features traditional camber through 95% of the ski length for explosive power, snap and edge grip, with subtle tip rocker (5%) for easier turn initiation and control.
OVERSIZED SIDECUT
Combining deep carving sidecuts with wider, modern waist widths, Rossignol´s OVERSIZE SIDECUT delivers powerful carving precision and edge grip with increased stability and control.
PEFC POPLAR WOOD CORE
The PEFC Poplar wood core ensures a good balance dampness, elasticity and weight savings.
V-FIBER GLASS
The "V" shape of the new V-Fiberglass layer provides a precise ski balance to mantain the right line in hard conditions. The Fiberglass brings perfect elasticity, torsional resistance and shock absorbtion, while the groove all along the sheet ensures a stiffer longitudinal bending. Stamping Fiber generates a phenomenon of mechanical anisotropy.
MAXI CAP
Maxi Cap construction features a beveled topsheet at tip and tail, improving ski durability while lightening the extremities for easier maneuverability.
