K2 Wayback 96 (Backcountry Touring Ski 2022/2023)

Product Summary

Due to its lighweight construction the K2 Wayback 96 is easy to handle not only downhill but also during longer ascents. This ski is just right for good skiers. Stable but not overpowering. The Wayback 96 is a pure freeride ski. Riding on groomers is no problem but due to its fairly wide waist the ski has a strong bias towards powder runs. The ski is available from 170 to 184cm.

The ski in details

Strapped up with T3 Technology – that’s metal-laden construction – the Wayback 96 offers uncompromised downhill capabilities in a super-light package. Whether you’re on a multi-day hut trip or pushing out for a quick dawn patrol, the Wayback 96 offers the best stability-to-weight ratio on the market.

Strapped with features like an All-Terrain Rocker, Ti Spyne and a Carbon Overdrive the Wayback 96 is stable, responsive, and maneuverable even in deep powder. The Wayback 96 are both efficient on the way up, and confidence-inspiring on the way down.
