The ski in details

A playful pow slayer

The Reckoner 124 is a dedicated powder twin-tip built to crush pillows, send cornices, and boost wind lips. A high and long rise in the tip and tail and its lightweight construction help this ski float through the soft stuff. An Aspen wood core combined with the patented Spectral Braid technology creates the perfect combination of surfy and stout, allowing this ski to bounce, pivot, and charge through even the deepest snow without skipping a beat. Strapped with a durable, full sidewall, TwinTech construction, the Reckoner 124 maintains a solid edge-to-edge feel with topsheet resilience. This versatile powder crusher will keep you spinning tricks from the first chair to the last.

Technologies

Powder Twin Rocker
High and long rise in the tip and tail for added versatility and float in softer snow.

Aspen Core
A single species of wood ensures consistency - giving riders the advantage of a proven flex, durability, and snap.

Bio-Resin
Eco-friendly material for energetic and consistent flex across a wide range of temperatures.

Carbon Boost Braid
Longitudinal carbon stringers woven into the K2’s patented Triaxial Braid for added pop and rebound, found on freeride and factory team skis.

Spectral Braid - Ski
Another implementation of K2’s Torsion Control Design, patented Spectral Braid is a first-of-its-kind variable-angle fiber reinforcement that allows for precision-tuned torsion and flex by altering the fiber orientation along the length of the ski. Lively, energetic, and composed, skis with K2’s Spectral Braid have stability and control in spades while remaining extremely maneuverable.

Triaxial Braided Core
K2-patented process that interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled core for pronounced torsional strength while retaining the flex patterns inherent in a wood ski.
