Fischer Sports GmbH, based in Ried am Innkreis in Austria, first opened for business in 1924. Founded by Josef Fischer, the company first produced carts and sleds before shifting its focus to skis in 1936. Fischer is nowadays known as one of the largest ski producers on Earth and a full-service provider of Alpine and Nordic ski equipment. Despite this success, Fischer has nevertheless succeeded in maintaining the character of a family-run company.
Decades of experience mixed with modern innovation forms the basis for the quality of Fischer sports products. The product range comprises Alpine skis and compatible bindings as well as ski boots, cross-country skis and bindings, cross-country boots and poles. In addition, the company also produces ski jumping skis, various accessories and even ice hockey equipment. Löffler Premium Sportswear has been part of the Fischer Sports Group since 1973.
