Elan Himalaya (Backcountry Touring Ski 2015/2016)

Product Summary

Due to its lighweight construction the Elan Himalaya is easy to handle not only downhill but also during longer ascents. The Elan Himalaya's full retail price is €599. The Ski is roughly €10 cheaper than the average price of all Backcountry Touring Skis, making it a mid-range model. This ski is just right for good skiers. Stable but not overpowering. The Himalaya is a pure freeride ski. Riding on groomers is no problem but due to its fairly wide waist the ski has a strong bias towards powder runs. The ski is available from 163 to 184cm.
