Blizzard Zero G 85 (Backcountry Touring Ski 2021/2022)

Product Summary

The Blizzard Zero G 85 is the perfect tool during both downhill rides and steep ascents. Thanks to its low weight, the ski is easy to master even on longer trips. Skilled skiers will enjoy both relaxed cruising and pushing the ski to its limit. The Backcountry Touring Ski prefers perfectly groomed runs over fresh powder. However due to its medium-width waist, this ski is also a good shout for riders who like to venture off piste from time to time. Available lengths for the ski are ranging between 150 and 178cm.

The ski in details

At 85 mm underfoot, the Zero G 85 is slimmer and lighter than the other skis in this collection, making it ideal for adventures that require a longer skin out or for skiers wanting to pick up the pace. For a ski of this width and minimal weight, the downhill performance is still solid, thanks to Carbon Drive 2.0 and Blizzard’s Austrian engineering. The Zero G 85 is fixed on supporting everything from your next epic mission, to crushing vert and distance, to knocking out your uphill fitness workout.

Ski review Blizzard Zero G 85

At the 2021/2022 ski test the skis in the category „Touring - Men 1“ were closely evaluated on the Mölltal Glacier. Tester's opinion: "Here something was wrong with the setup. Otherwise there is no other explanation for the “Blizzard” rating. Usually, this ultra-light touring ski really keeps up with the competition. Somehow it didn't fit this year. Try out the “Zero G 085” yourself!" >> Click here for the detailed review with all tested models!
