It's the perfect tool for intermediate skiers. The Backland 85 W is a more off-piste oriented ski which rides great in deep powder. Thanks to its versatility however, it is also fun on groomers from time to time. The ski is available from 151 to 165cm.

If you want a balanced touring ski for all your touring days then Atomic Backland 85 W is your stick – light for climbing, floaty in powder but also strong and edgy enough for getting you there and back. Inside you’ve got an Ultra Light Woodcore made from poplar/caruba and the ski is shaped for an easy hike and safe grip, especially on longer traverses. Then you’ve got HRZN Tech Tips with 10% more surface area for awesome floatation in powder plus less tip deflection and better tracking through chop. Extra stability comes from carbon fibers along the ski – allowing you to lay down the power on and off piste. We offer it in a nice purple/pink design and have prefit skins to match.
