Product Summary
The ski in details
Purpose built for piste touring, the Atomic Backland 80 PT offers the perfect blend of a lightweight touring ski with the stability of a piste ski.
A ski specifically built for all-around piste touring, the Atomic Backland 80 PT offers the perfect blend of a lightweight touring ski with the stability of a ski built for cruising groomers. Ideal for ski touring on groomed terrain and skiers new to skinning, Light Woodcore optimizes the ski’s weight for comfortable climbing, while strong, cross-woven X Fiberglass makes the ski more torsionally rigid for better edge grip and control during the descent. The HRZN Tech tip offers 10% more surface area to allow the ski to track through the turn with less tip deflection. Dura Cap Sidewall construction works to further absorb shock for controlled power transmission and reliable handling on the downhill. A cut-out notch in the tip makes for transitioning Atomic’s PreFit skins a snap.
