Atomic Backland 65 UL (Backcountry Touring Ski 2019/2020)

Product Summary

Due to its lighweight construction the Atomic Backland 65 UL is easy to handle not only downhill but also during longer ascents. The Atomic Backland 65 UL's full retail price is €599.99. The Ski is roughly €10 cheaper than the average price of all Backcountry Touring Skis, making it a mid-range model. This ski is best suited for aggressive skiers who want to push the ski to its limit.

The ski in details

Atomic Backland 65 UL is a flyer – developed in close co-operation with our skimountaineering worldcup cracks. It’s designed to give you a competitive edge on the way up, then it’s got an optimized rocker making the ski super stable downhill. The full cap construction features a super thin HRZN Tech Tip that cuts like a blade through chop and crud, with a cut-out notch for fixing skins quickly during races. The ski also uses our Ultra Light Woodcore which makes it one of the lightest ski running skis on the market. It also features carbon inserts and the World Cup base finish that Davide Magnini and all our Skimo team use in the World Cup.
