Atomic Backland 107 (Backcountry Touring Ski 2021/2022)

Product Summary

Due to its lighweight construction the Atomic Backland 107 is easy to handle not only downhill but also during longer ascents. The Atomic Backland 107's full retail price is € 699,99. The Ski costs roughly € 90 more than the average price of all Backcountry Touring Skis, making it an upper mid-range model. This ski is just right for good skiers. Stable but not overpowering. The Backland 107 is a pure freeride ski. Riding on groomers is no problem but due to its fairly wide waist the ski has a strong bias towards powder runs. The ski is available from 175 to 189cm.

The ski in details

Light and mighty, Atomic Backland 107 is a wide freeride touring ski featuring HRZN Tech in the tip for maximum flotation in deep snow.

The ski of choice for Atomic freeride athletes Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and Nick McNutt, Atomic Backland 107 delivers multipurpose backcountry performance in a wide and lightweight package. At 107mm underfoot this is one of the widest freeride touring skis, but still super light thanks to a full-length Carbon Backbone and Ultra Power Woodcore. The Powder Rocker (wider in the tip and narrower in the tail) and revolutionary HRZN Tech in the tip deliver more surface area for maximum flotation in deep pow. Capable of charging through crud and chop with total confidence, Dura Cap Sidewall allows for smooth and stable handling on harder snow. They pair perfectly with the 100% mohair Atomic MultiFit Skins, for maximum uphill performance. Created for big mountain skiers dropping big lines in big terrain, Atomic Backland 107 offers next level performance for a next level skiing experience.
