The most famous resort in the state is called Jackson Hole, which is located on the edge of Grand Teton National Park. It provides more than 1,000 ha of slopes and is especially popular among proficient and skilled skiers. The legendary descent Corbet's Colouir at Rendezvous Mountain is an expert line you mustn't miss. Winter sport enthusiasts have to drop down some four meters into a rocky chute which is as exhilarating as it is terrifying!

In White Pine you'll encounter a more relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. The oldest ski resort in Wyoming is famous for its impeccable service and family-friendliness. In contrast, if you like the sound of riding a snowcat into untouched terrain for some serious powder action, head to Grand Targhee. You can rent private snowcats and use them to access the resort's very own “Snowcat Zone”. Snowy Range's fantastic location in the middle of Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest also makes it well worth a visit.
