The Ski Resort
Valdres Alpinsenter in Aurdal is the largest ski resort in the Valdres region. Set on the sunny side above the village, the resort offers a varied piste network with runs for all ability levels — from wide beginner slopes and forest descents to steep pitches that challenge advanced skiers. Thanks to the Fjellstølheisen with its top station at 1,050 metres, the season can start as early as mid-November and regularly extends to the end of April — an unusually long ski window for southern Norway.
A terrain park and a freestyle park are part of the offering, along with a dedicated children's area with a conveyor belt and a children's lift. When snow conditions allow, off-piste terrain beyond the groomed runs beckons too.Valdres Alpinsenter is part of the Valdreskortet — a shared season pass covering seven ski areas in the Valdres region, including Beitostølen, Tyin-Filefjell and Raudalen.
