The Ski Resort
Sunnmørsalpane Skiarena Fjellsætra lies in the municipality of Sykkylven amid the wild mountain scenery of the Sunnmøre Alps in western Norway's Møre og Romsdal county. Set in a high-mountain landscape that lives up to its name, the family-friendly resort brings together 14 runs totalling 16 kilometres of piste. The lift ride to the very top takes around ten minutes and opens up descents of all difficulty levels. Off-piste, the rugged Sunnmøre nature offers inviting freeride terrain. The terrain park is considered the best in the region, with jumps and rails for various ability levels.
The family offering is a particular strength: two children's areas are separated by age — for the very youngest, rope tows with figures and playful obstacles; for slightly older children, a dedicated family lift. The children's lift is free for those under seven. A free ski bus brings visitors to the resort.
