The Ski Resort
The family ski resort St. Jakob im Walde is ideal for beginners and children. But thanks to the 3 kilometres of red marked slopes, advanced skiers also feel at home here. The ski area is located in Eastern Styria and has a total of 4 kilometres of slopes. The first steps on skis can be taken at the cable and platter lift in the valley area. If you are already a bit safer on skis, you can take the Leit'n lift to the start of the training course. From the top station of the Ochsenkopf lift a blue or red marked slope leads back down to the valley. A highlight is the drive-through toilet next to the cable lift. There you can "take a break" without taking off your skis.
