The Ski Arena SNØ (in English: snow) near Oslo was opened in 2020 and is one of the largest indoor ski halls in the world. In the indoor ski hall, which is open all year round, the temperature is between -2 and -4 degrees Celsius (24-28°F). A 4-seater chair lift and a platter lift bring winter sports enthusiasts to the slopes.

The runway is 500 metres long, 90 metres wide and divided into several sections. In the lower area there is a small, flat area with a magic carpet, where beginners and children can practice their first turns. In the middle of the ski hall there is the downhill run for advanced winter sportsmen, while sporty skiers find a race track to the left. With a maximum gradient of 22 degrees, however, even this is not too steep.

The right part of the slope belongs to the snowboarders and freestylers, who can show their tricks on the jumps, rails and the big jump of the 300-metre-long snow park.

The ski hall is closed on Mondays. >> Opening hours

The SNØ indoor ski hall in Lørenskog is located about 15 minutes northeast of the Norwegian capital Oslo. A park garage is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion by 2021. Until then the parking possibilities on site are somewhat limited.

However, the ski hall can also be easily reached by public transport. There is a shuttle service from Lørenskog station to the indoor ski hall.
