The Ski Resort
Located in Semič, near Novo mesto in southeast Slovenia, is the Skicenter Gače. From the summit of Pogorelec you have a great view over Dolenjska (Lower Carniola) and Bela Krajina (White Carniola). If the weather is nice, you can even see the Triglav, the highest mountain Slovenias with 2,864 meters.
