The Ski Resort

Ski Butternut is a great ski resort located in southwest Massachussetts. It has been rated #1 medium-sized mountain on the east coast by readers of SnowEast Magazine. It offers 44 hectares of skiable terrain with trails for everyone but with a majority of intermediate runs. There are 22 trails in total that are served by 12 lifts. Ski Butternut pays special attention to snowmaking and grooming. The snowmaking system is capable of covering the entire terrain with fresh man-made snow. Freestylers can choose from 2 Terrain Parks, Cruiser Progression Park and Twisted Terrain Park. They provide features that will please everyone from beginner to expert. Groups and families shouldn´t miss a visit to the tubing park. You will find it at the left side of the main parking lot. A carpet lift will get you up on the hill. Up there you can choose from 8 chutes. It´s very easy and above all it is fun!
