Trail Map Sirdal Fjellpark

The Ski Resort

Sirdal Fjellpark is the largest ski resort in southwestern Norway, located in the municipality of Sirdal in the province of Agder. It was created in 2014 through the merger of the Tjørhomfjellet and Ålsheia ski areas, now linked by a connecting lift and together offering varied terrain for the whole family. On the Tjørhomfjellet side, the only chairlift in the Sirdal region — a detachable model — carries skiers up to just under 930 metres, from where easy, intermediate and challenging runs lead back down. The Ålsheia side adds further surface lifts and runs.

The heart of the resort is Hulderheimen, the central family and beginner area at the foot of Tjørhomfjellet. Here you find a dedicated children's zone with a free tow lift, the ski school, a barbecue area and an ice-skating rink — all free to use. A second children's area at Ålsheia features a ski conveyor belt and a ski carousel. The resort's mascot "Snøfte" occasionally pops out of the forest to greet young visitors.

Interesting facts
