Children's and practice area directly at the top station of the Thurntaler gondola

What criteria are important for a family ski vacation? The smallest among us need a children's area, preferably with a funny mascot, and a ski school should be available for those who want to learn. There should also be plenty of red-marked slopes for the slightly older children and wide, sunny runs for parents to enjoy skiing. Little après-ski, a family run and nice panoramic restaurants would mean the icing on the cake. If you look at these criteria, you can confidently make a double check mark for the Sillian Hochpustertal ski area for each of them.

In the children's area with the penguin mascot BOBO, children learn to ski in a playful way. A magic carpet is available for the little ones in the children's land for transport. Furthermore, there is an igloo, a carousel and a wave run. The animals of the winter forest complete the child-friendly terrain.

Afterwards, beginners can use the separate practice area with its own rope lift. Here there is enough space to learn the first turns. The ski school meeting point is located directly in front of it. This is another plus point for the family ski area of Sillian Hochpustertal.

Families can also use the Gadein chairlift to get to the start of the blue-marked family run number 3. This wide slope is just plain fun and allows for nice controlled carving turns. It has a southern exposure, which promises especially many hours of sunshine.

One man's joy is another man's sorrow - après-ski fans are not particularly enthusiastic about the ski resort of Sillian Hochpustertal, which makes an undisturbed family skiing vacation all the more enjoyable.

    Very good deals for families

Families are very well Sillian in Alta Pusteria. On the one, there are enough blue marked runs for small piste fleas, on which you can safely master the first swings together with mum and dad, and ...
