The Ski Resort
Ratschings Jaufen is especially worth a visit for advanced skiers and snowboarders. The majority of the slopes are marked in red. The Blosegg descent, for example, is particularly worthwhile. It starts at the top station of the chairlift Ratschings-Jaufen and leads down 2.5 kilometres into the valley.
At the Kalcher Alm chairlift there is a speed measurement section. There is also a public race track with time measurement at the Rinneralm chairlift.
In the practice area, the ski school teaches newcomers the first turns on boards. In the separate area, everyone can practice undisturbed and discover the fun of winter sports for themselves. However, the smallest children first go to the ski kindergarten, where the ski instructors show them how to move safely on skis in a child-friendly way.
For snowboarders and freestylers there is a funpark at the Enzianlift. The park is divided into three different lines: beginners can make their first attempts on the wave line, advanced players practice new moves and tricks on the jib line and real pros present their skills on the kicker line. There is also a fun slope with playful elements such as a snail.
The new ENZIAN 8-seater chairlift was inaugurated in December 2016. Equipped with a cover, genuine leather seats in automotive design and an automatic lift table for smaller children, the lift was at the time the first 8-seater chairlift in Italy .
